According to § 73 II No. 3 BRAO the board of the Bar Association may mediate in disputes between members of the Chamber and their clients, which includes the power to make settlement proposals. According to § 191 f BRAO the Federal Bar Association grants an independent arbitration body for these disputes (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft).
